Bio

Molly Frances is an indie pop singer-songwriter and producer based in Brooklyn, New York, known for her blend of feel-good instrumentation and emotionally raw, heartfelt lyrics.

Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Molly spent several formative years in Nashville, Tennessee, where she developed a storytelling-driven approach to lyricism that blends southern-rooted honesty with modern pop sensibilities.

With influences like Holly Humberstone, Indigo De Souza, and Carol Ades, Molly’s music is shaped by both her heroes and her tight-knit community of fellow musicians.

Her latest release, “hot summer,” is her first fully self-produced single, a sun-soaked breakup anthem written and recorded in a shoebox bedroom with no AC. It captures the contrast of being in the trenches of heartbreak while the sun is shining.

Her breakout EP, Collector, recently released, solidified her sound, a dynamic mix of vulnerability, melody, and pop-forward production.
